Just put my deposit down for a 4003W through Pick of the Ricks. I just couldn't resist, I haven't broken the news to the wife yet, but first things first.

Did anyone attend NAMM 2014 and actually play the 4003W that was on display. I know if I would have gone, I would have plugged it in and ran a few scales on it to see how it played, sounded, etc. Anyone out there who did that and can provide commentary, it would be greatly appreciated.

So does anyone have them for sale and/or when are they expected to be available for purchase ?

so is it normal for the e-string to be somewhat plain versus the other that have an open ringing sustain?

Who or what forum do you recommend I use to find a good Rick tech in the Wisconsin area?

Went on You Tube the other day and all the video's of people playing 4001 V63's were of Beatle songs. Then you look at the video's of a 4003 and they are all Rush or Yes songs. Can someone explain? What DR strings are you referring?

The original E was pretty bassey when I played it prior to purchase, i believe it was probably somewhat dead as well. Do you know what you Petersland did to get it even across all of the strings. That would be awesome and solve my problem. I don't think I am asking too much? Am I?
