Re: What kind of bass amp do you use with your Rickenbacker?
I recently sold my Fender Bassman 25 and bought the new MicroMark 801 which is great for its size and convenience. Weighs 11 lbs and puts out every bit of 50 watts plus. It really compliments my 1966 Rickenbacker 4005 Mapleglo.

Re: Rickenbacker 4005 - how many were made
According to the register there are only 84 4005s listed. I wonder what percentage of the total this represents. Does Rickenbacker offer anything like this?

Posting pictures to the Register and signature
How do I post pictures of my 4005 to the Register and my signature on all notices and responses? I have been manually adding 1 picture to each notice but would like to have this done manually.

Rickenbacker 4005 - how many were made
Is there a way to determine how many 4005s were made each year from 1966 - 1984 and even better in a given year.

Re: Recommendations on small practise bass amp
The MM 810 weighs in at 11lbs. Compared to my FB25 at 34 lbs a big improvement.

Re: Recommendations on small practise bass amp
My Fender Bassman 25 weighs about 33lbs, feels heavier and has much more power than i need for a small practice amp. Just went and tested the Markbass Micromark and was very impressed. At 9 lbs and 50 w it is a good alternative. Markbass is now selling the better version of this called the Micromark...

Recommendations on small practise bass amp
I currently have a Fender Bassman 25 which works very well and sounds better than it size and power would suggest. Problem is that it is very heavy and i am looking at something smaller, lighter in weight. I have been looking at the Micromark and Micromark 801. REviews are strong but price is very h...

1966 Rickenbacker 4005
As noted in a previous message i recently purchased a 1966 Rick 4005. While the guitar is in excellent condition i would like the tuning keys to be a bit cleaner. I tried using a silver polish carefully but had limited results. there is a little bit of tarnish. Any thoughts on the best way to remove.

Here are the pictures of my new 1966 Rickenbacker 4005 Mapleglo. The bass is in perfect condition. It was in a collection for most of its life and not played as evidenced by the pictures.

Rick 4005 WB or no WB
what does the WB stand for. I have noticed that 4005s w the top rounded off do not carry this designation vs the 4005s w the squared edges top and bottom do.
can anyone tell me. thanks
