Re: Question about colors/years

Thanks everyone for your comments. So if you HAD to say without seeing a picture whether a brownburst/autumnglo/walnut looking 1986 12-string 360 is more likely to be

a. autumnglo
b. walnut
c. fireglo that has gone wrong

what would you say/guess?

I know -- i should post a picture.

Question about colors/years

Are the years that I see on Wikipedia and the Rickenbacker Page info (http://www.the-music-connection.com/ricinfo.htm#fin) during which certain colors were made correct? For example, could there be an autumnglo 360 made in 1986?

Also what's the difference between autumnglo and walnut?

Re: Rickenbacker Neck Angles

I have a 1959 360F that has a neck angle. At first I thought it was a problem with the neck until I read that Rick made a few of these in an attempt to attract the jazz player. I saw another almost identical to mine on eBay a couple of years ago and the seller had some documentation attesting to the...

Anyone near Buffalo Brothers?

Is there a forumite who stops by or could stop by Buffalo Bros to check out a Rick for me? I always like to have a trusted pair of eyes look a guitar over before I buy. Thanks.

A belated welcome from me as well, Warren. And remember, any friend of Jeff's is, well, a friend of Jeff's.

Re: Any interest in a Chicago - Milwaukee area confluence?

Well Paul it looks like Chicago won't be happening any time soon (sorry to hear about family medical issues, Ken). Milwaukee is only another 90 minute to 2-hours away from St Louis by car. If you do plan something up your way I'd be inclined to come.

Re: Any interest in a Chicago - Milwaukee area confluence?

Is anything going to develop here? It seems like the interest was strong -- does anyone want to revisit this? I'll do what I can from St. Louis to help.
