Nick John retired his first 325 because he had just acquired a brand new shiny 325 so he was going to use it, I don't think he was sentimental about it at the time, plus his original 325 was worn out. I think he used the term "hammered" to describe its condition after four years of hard wo...

Here....this photo of John's 325 might help. From what I can tell, nothing was done to the screw holes after the Kauffman was removed.

Yes, it certainly did but then the seller put it straight on eBay at £3,600!!!! BUT, surprise, surprise, it didn't sell. Then he relisted it for £2,500 and then reduced it yet again to £2,000. And now there's another on eBay as well and that one's even cheaper.

With that guitar you've just got to get the Vox Python Strap which is available from:

Thanks Ron! This is how it looks now complete with Toasters, silver-on-black TRC, black two-tier pickguard, original knobs and Pyramid flats. I'm never going to have an 'official' Rickenbacker signature guitar so I thought I'd create my own. Enjoy! http://archives.rickresource.com/oldattachments/368...

You won't like this then! This is how my 1981 320FG looks now, complete with Bigsby B5, Toasters, black pickguards and TRC.

I can also backup the comments on the great service provided by Tim and Dave at the Music Zoo in Little Neck, NY. Some of the best prices that I've come across and not just on Rickenbackers either.

1966 RICKENBACKER on eBay

As I don't yet know how to paste a link, check out the 1966 Rickenbacker 325 on eBay. This is either a scam or someone has no idea what they are selling. Which is it......?

Thanks for the info Larry. I'm interested to see where this thread goes. By the way, I sent you an e-mail a short while ago but received a 'Failed Delivery' message after about 4 days or so. Do you use a 'spam' filter which may have caused this delivery failure? Thanks Larry

John What were the guys at Rickenbacker thinking when they came up with the round saxophone neck strap retainer on this model (and some others) but not all models? I'm not going to drill this guitar for strap buttons which is a shame really because I can only play it sitting down.... This guitar has...

Not ER again......there are no words that I can use on this forum that will allow me to adequately describe this man (if I can even call him that). It appears that ER is trying to corner/control the world market for guitars and basses. Has he no idea that 'biggest' is not always 'best'? I'm just hop...

With the current exchange rate between the US Dollar and the British Pound, I refuse to buy anything from UK dealers. US dealers appreciate my business far more than my experience of UK dealers and the cost savings can be huge, e.g. I saved over £1000 on my 325C58 buying from the US. Last year I bou...

320FG from Hessy's Music Centre, Liverpool

I have a 320FG (now 325) complete with the original sales receipt from Hessy's Music Centre in Liverpool, England. The guitar was manufactured in June 1981 and eventually bought in October 1983, over two years after it was made. What I would like to try and find out is whether this guitar was a 'spe...
