The CRY!

Check out my band! Our lead singer uses his dad's old Rickie MG, and I'm in the process of trying to trade my 360V64 for a 4001C64 bass! Check it out!

Re: Rickenbacker survives tornado!

So awesome to see that guitar survive! Looks like there's no damage whatsoever! RIC should use this as an ad campaign like said above! Haha

The Knack

Is the famous "My Sharona" played on a Rickenbacker Bass like it is in the video? I saw that Prescott used a lot of different basses throughout their career too.

The Dovers

An awesome Santa Barbara band from the 60's. Really Garage, Psych, Folky, but has a good vibe to the Byrds as well.
This is my favorite tune by them, with the Rickie kicking it off!

Best Amp To Record a Rickie Bass with

Let's hear some opinions! The only amp I've recorded out of at the moment was an Acoustic 370 with a 2x15 cab. Sounded great! Working on getting an all VOX setup right now! :D

Weird finish?

My friend recently sent me this photo of this guitar he was gonna buy. I couldn't help but notice the weird finish this had. Does anyone know if this is a custom finish or a refinish (what I'm thinking)

Re: Difference between 4001V64 and 4001C64/S

Thank you very much for the information! I currently own a Rickenbacker 360V64 and I'm hoping once I reach the minimum posts on here I can trade it for either one of those models. I only play bass professionally now, so I want to play a bass of the same quality! :)
