Rickenbacker seems to be out of the 00003 Pickup Assy 4003. I have a replica that I want to upgrade to real Rickenbacker bass pickups. Looking online, there seems to be lots of Brand X manufacturers selling look-alikes and it sometimes hard to know what's real and what's not. Is there a definitive source that reliably sells the real thing?

I know that I've read somewhere online that they were greater number of winds, machine wound rather than scatter-wound, and higher in output.
