Re: The New addition
Or if you dont want to put a cover over the treble pick up you might want to consider a trebel bezel cover that fits around the pick up. They come in black and fit very nicely around the pick up. You can see them at PickoftheRicks.com I put one on mine and love it. Thats where my thumb rests. Just a...

Production of 4001/4003 bass
Not sure i'm in the proper category for this question being a new guy in this forum. I was just wondering when did production end of the 4001 and production begin of 4003. My understanding is that there was about a three year overlap in the early eighties. I ask this because back in 1982 I bought a ...

Just wondering if anyone knows what Canada Customs Fees would be if purchasing from the States. Contacted Musiciansfriend today. They have a 4003 in stock in fireglo and will price match. I realize that with free trade because the item is made in the USA there should be no duties, but what costs may...

Re: Proud new owner of a Rickenbacker 4003!
First: Congrats on the new 4003. Got mine in January 2012 in Jetglo and love it. I too took my bridge cover off. Just ordered a treble bezel cover with a thumb rest from Pick Of The Ricks LLC out of NJ. Cant wait to get it to see how it work for positioning.
