I would suggest going for the C58 first because it has been discontinued but is still available now. Then you can save and get the C64 when you are ready.

Glad to see my post is still active! I have been away a while. I have photos of the backs of the 1996's. The first is of 2 from 2006 week 28. These guitars are one serial number away fro each other. The second shows the 2006 and a 2008. Hope this helps.

I switched from TW to Verizon in August. Not so much for internet but for the HD. Time Warner's Cable boxes are junk. Had to replace them 4 times. What a difference in picture!

These are dark. The flash lightened them up a bit.

Hofner bass strings have dark green silks on them. I saw two Hofner basses at Mandolin Bros and the both had dark green silks. Could be ?

The brand new AFG 1996's are gorgeous. I saw 5 brand new ones opened up today and a vast difference from the 06's. They were all exceptional. The two photos tell it all. Including a Jetglo.

Yes, Chris at POTR told me he was getting one and I took it. It has been shipped and should have it Friday.
