No, it's just a lot of extra work to seal it in such a way that it doesn't.jsod wrote:It's not gonna bubble or flake off on me, is it?

JMT's authorized only for sales in China, Hong Kong, and Macau. However, if you were ever visiting any of those areas, I'm sure he would be of service.ricfreak wrote:Is there a possibility for us in SE Asia to purchase RICs from JMT?

Was it a purple Model 370? If so, it was indeed his son, Shane, who's quite a great player.

Re: Presonus Audiobox USB
Normally the procedure is to take the stems (tracks) from the source, load them into a digital audio workstation (DAW) like you've done with Audacity, and get your mix down in the DAW. Normally you'd bring across dry tracks and add plugins as necessary in the DAW. When you're happy with everything, ...

Re: Help with 325
There are certain elements that make me think that William Young was involved with this instrument . . . Anyway, the guitar bearing serial number 0826474 was indeed a Model 650C sold by Pick of The Ricks to a customer residing in New Jersey. We'll add a note to his records so that there's no questio...

Re: Hi I am Ricfreak..........Newbie here
I am just curious about the stock distribution worldwide. Does Asia get new stocks of instruments at or around the same time as in the US or even the UK? It's first come, first served. In other words, whoever orders first gets goods first. Yamano and JMT could get the first shipments of a product i...

Re: Hi I am Ricfreak..........Newbie here
We do not have any RIC distributor here in our little island and we can only source from RIC Asia based in Japan. Well, more accurately, the distributor for Singapore (as well as most Asian countries, excluding China) is Yamano Music in Japan. Unfortunately there are not any Singapore-based musical...

Re: Cock-eyed tuner on a 4003 MapleGlo - is this suspicious?
Once again, my opinion and that of a certain number of others, is that it looks correct from the front of the instrument. I will agree that from behind (which of course an audience rarely sees) it does look slightly odd. Personally, what REALLY looks strange to me are some Ibanez and Warwick heads b...

Re: W Series 360 With Rosewood Fretboard?
Tim, that 380/12 PW is still one of the most beautiful guitars ever. I wonder how those W series guitars would look like if they were glossy like your the 380/12. Indeed , the W series is a hit right into the target , well done CEO :) This time around it wasn't my idea to offer these but rather Ben...

Re: Cock-eyed tuner on a 4003 MapleGlo - is this suspicious?
Lining them up straight causes there to be very little clearance between the "ears" of the button and the headstock, such that depending how you reach to the key, your fingers get mashed. Lining up the centerline of the key perpendicular to the tangent of the edge solves this problem and ....

Re: Antiques Roadshow (PBS) and Ric!
I am sure this has been mentioned before but I saw Part 2 last night and it only had a tiny clip with the Gryphon Guitars chap talking about them. Was the factory tour (which i will watch by clicking on the links above) on Part 3 or something? No. Probably for reasons of time, they edited everythin...

Re: W Series 360 With Rosewood Fretboard?
I respectfully disagree with Mr. JH on this one. I think it looks great. Well, chacun à son goût. Have you ever been to Sorrento, Italy? They sell tables and all manner of gimcrackery there, inlaid with various woods, of all colors and types. Same idea when you add Rosewood to the mix on this guita...
