I got a new head. Custom Matamp GT-150. This thing is amazing. Had them tweak the mids on it to dial in vintage Marshall like Lemmy. Sounds like a mix of Sleep and Motorhead tones. It's perfect.

Knob/Post size
Hello,
I don't think I've asked this before and I haven't been able to find a definite answer.
I'm looking to replace the knobs on one of my 4003's and I need to know what size internal diameter to get.
Thanks!

Re: What kind of bass amp do you use with your Rickenbacker?
I've always liked having multiple options for dirt thus the excess of fuzz pedals and with previous bands I had a relatively tame pedal setup. my main band now layers lots of space noises so it encourages me to experiment with all sorts of sounds and tones layered in with my walls of fuzz. I like th...

Just got a custom 2x15" cab built by Pharaoh Cabs and figured I'd throw in a pic of my pedal setup too!

I give hefty debate to doing this into 2 amps....

The newest Ric I have (from 2014) has a neck that's similar to a P thickness but the back feels a little flatter. It's chunky but comfortable. I have another from 1995 with a similar curve to a p-bass but fatter... Everyone will agree they vary a bit. I play with my fingers. My preferred spot is res...

Thanks for checking it out! We're inspired by a lot of Hawkwind and early Grand Funk Railroad while still trying to sound modern so I'm glad that classic influence comes through hahaBigJohnAZ wrote:Like it! Good luck with the album! It's got a late 60's feel, IMO.

Hi all! My band Green Meteor recently posted an unmastered preview track off our debut. It's not quite the final product but my '78 4001 is very prominent! It's the '78 running through an MXR M-80 pre-amp, Mountainking Electronics Ultra Megalith Fuzz, Boss Bass Chorus all through a Marshall JCM 800 ...
