Re: Rare small body short scale 360?
I think it's fake and poor one at that. Tell the store owner he may have a counterfeit guitar on his hands.

Re: New Guy, First Ric
Glad you're getting on well with the 325. I always say that Rickenbacker guitars are their own unique animal; you have to get used to their quirks, because they're not going to get used to you, but in the end, the effort is worth it. I have been jamming casually with another guitarist lately. Last w...

Re: Rickenbacker 330 Models/Changes
Yes, the hunt for Rickenbackers is half the fun, and I have always been able to find what I wanted at the right price, but it always took quite a while-sometimes weeks-of constant searching to find the guitar at a great price. I have done nationwide searches on Craigslist and that has worked for me....

Re: Fall 2021: Best place to order a new Rick. . .
Sweetwater has serioulsy upped its Rick game in the last couple of years, I'm not gonna lie I've bought a few from them and they're killing it. Yes, but us musicians (even us bedroom players) are supposed to only buy from ma and pop stores. Pay more, sometimes worse service...but we are doing our p...

Re: New Rick 4080 Candy Apple Green & 330 Grape Jelly
I like those colors and wish Rickenbacker would release more daring finishes like these to the public instead of just making one-offs to tease us with. When I worked for Guild from 1979-81, they wouldn't try anything new insofar as guitar finishes. It was the same old/same old, and that was at a tim...

Rickenbacker To Stop Lacquering Fretboads Starting Now
It has been reported on gearpage, supposedly straight from a Rick employee, that as of the end of August, the company will stop lacquering fretboards on their most popular guitars.
Fine by me.

Re: Sweetwater Wait Time
I would call Rickenbacker personally and ask them, because I don't trust Sweatwater's ETA dates at all, much as I generally don't trust them for anything. The estimate you received sounds like something your "sales engineer" pulled out of his a$$ to keep you happy. Rickenbacker wait times ...

Dennis Fano uses that shape on several guitar models. The one I happened to post is his version of a Junior.

Re: Opinions: Creamery Toasters
I appreciate the responses. I wound up buying a used set of Toasters for that 330-12, but now, I think I want to ditch the Hi Gains on both my Rick six strings as well, and just get Toasters all around, so I had a look at the Creamery Toasters again last night. With the exchange rate, they are now o...

Re: Rickenbacker Minimum Order?
Rickenbacker's custom service guy got back to me and said the minimum order was $10. The nut is $9.00, so that means I have to order something else if I want to by the 660-12 nut from them. I guess I'll buy two, one for each 330-12. Am I correct in assuming that this nut will fit my 330-12s and spre...

Rickenbacker Minimum Order?
I tried ordering a 660-12 nut on the Rick site for $9.00 and was told it was less than the minimum order. What gives? What is the minimum order?
