I tried looking in the registry. It's in there, but mostly likely a recent addition made by you. You never know, many people look in here. I saw your post on the RRF Facebook page as well. Good luck.

Re: Why so quiet around here?

Probably because we're getting towards the end of summer. Even in the days before Facebook, when this forum was super busy (especially the Rickenbacker Basses section), it would slow a bit during summer.

Oh right, II forgot about Bill's. I need to get the book out.
Gary had so many stolen that I forget which ones he said were recovered.

Re: Were any 4003SFL ever made?

I found this S5 in the register, but unless it was radically modified, I have my doubts it was RIC factory built. https://www.rickresource.com/register/viewitem.php?id=70749&bl=%2Fregister%2Findex.php%3Fsearch%3Dtrue%26model%3D41%26strings%3D0%26special%3D32%26finish%3D0%26def_state%3D%26countr...

Re: YouTube RIC bass Sighting

At 4:40 you can see it's not a toaster pickup, and not reverse headstock, so maybe a modified V63 reissue? Too hard for my eyes to tell if that's a toaster or higain with the lighting, angle, and video quality. Definitely a V63 as previously stated, which does not have a reverse headstock. The C64 ...

Re: 4004cii/5

I would LOVE to get a pair of the new 5 string pickups for my 4004Cii/5... You don't like the Nordstrand pickups? The bridge pickup is a Nordstrand, it's OK, but the Bartolini in the neck seems a bit muddy. It would be nice to see how the new RIC 5-string pickups sound... I forgot about the Bart. I...

Re: PAUL WILCZYNSKI RETURNS

I'm just seeing this now. Great to see you here again. Especially these days, I don't scroll far past the bass forum, though I've been spending more time here lately myself and very little on Facebook. I haven't logged onto FB in almost 3 months. Paul, if you're going to spend more time here, that's...

Re: Rickenbacker 100year Anniversary Model

How would RIC do the CB on the superbly contoured 4004 body? Maybe along the edge of the body around the perimeter. There's always the headstock, edges of the fretboard, and around the pickups and jackplate... Tsk, tsk! You forgot about around the bridge, and concentric circles arounds the kn...

Re: 4004cii/5

There could be a solution for my Mapleglo. JH gave me a new 4003S/5 pickup cover to see if it will adequately cover the 5 strings. I think it will work well. I need to find a guitar repairman brave enough to make the new pickup routes. I'd do it myself, I've routed several bodies, but from what I'v...
