the magical powers of a Rickenbacker....

Post by fluffy »

I don't know if there are any KISS fans here, but a 360/12 with some reverb really does something magical to "Hard Luck Woman"!!!!you should give it a go if you haven't already :)

What songs have you wonderful folks given new life with your Rickanbackers??
♪♫♪♫I need new strings, these ones have a bunch of dang wrong notes on 'em ♫♪♫♪

I now play 99% bass, but twenty-some years ago when I played guitar in my former band, I played my 12-string frequently. I used it to change the character to the good on the following songs; these are the ones I can remember; I probably used it on more that don't come to mind right now. Stock hi-gains with a little bit of pre-gain to get warm, if not crunchy, on my first-year of issue Marshall 2203 with 6CA7 big bottle tubes.

Paint it Black - Stones
Bad Moon Rising - CCR
Out in the Cold - TP & HB
A couple of originals
