Searching for the Sceusa Neck Rickenbacker?

Post by jsm610 »

Does anyone have a Sceusa neck Rickenbacker? Has anyone seen one? What models were made?

I never see anyone talk about these...

Sorry, John - but I do have a 'Sceusa me' one!

Oh... the pain!

Could you possibly explain what it is?

I never seen one John.......I've had slanted frets - but never come across the Sceusa neck. (Well done on the 366 by the way!)

How did I miss that 425? Image

John, did you save any pictures of it or recall what it went for?

(the 366 was cheap, I thought for sure it was going to go @ $3500)

It wasn't much, about $1100, maybe a little more. That auction wasn't long after I bought a 1962 425 from John Williams, which he has back now. The Sceusa-neck '63 is in nice shape, Dec. 1963 I believe. Sorry I don't have any pics...

Hi there - I own a 1964 made 625 with a Sceusa-Neck. Bought it when I was 15, 40 Years ago. But it's the only one I've ever seen, and I've seen and had a lot of Rickenbacker Guitars in my life. I still play the guitar regularily, when I'm gigging, still love the feel of the neck. If I ever find another Sceusa-Neck-Ric, I'll buy it :-)

I have a '64 Sceusa 625 also.
