No "Drunk" guys building Rick's here. Just evidence of a long gone era of genuinely hand made guitars with no jigs of fixture, just production pressures for the people pumping them out during the post Beatles boom era.

hey Si,
yep, I know----all kidding. I like seeing inconsistencies like that, as nice as the uniformity that CNC machines provide, they don't remind you that something is handbuilt like uneven screw holes etc.

Anyone know of a source for an "R" tailpiece? I have a 360/12-string that was changed to a trapeze style, and I would like to change it back (it has holes for the original bracket). Rickenbacker acknowledges the guitar serial number as authentic, and that it did leave the factory with an "R" tailpiece, but could not help me procure a new one. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Benny, the only "source" would be on the used market. Watch eBay.

There was a fantastic Epiphone wiki that went poof one day and I think maybe some people are trying to restore from the internet wayback machine. One could definitely be built from the knowledge in this forum!

Wait, but then we wouldn't get to talk about the same 10-15 topics over and over and over and over again.
