This idea has been speculated upon before, but no confirmation from the folks at RIC. JH mentioned that they did understand the meaning of harngelb...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks for the info everyone. It's kinda more cool that it's a white Ric that's yellowed actually. I bought back in 1995 from a guy in LA. Plays and sounds great, but got bills to pay so it's going on the market.
