And the winner is .... Werner. Indeed, that's Mount Teide, approximately 2,500 m up.

This more like "yellow", but it's white. If the white ones go yellow, wouldn't it make sense that the old yellow ones go...er...ochre?

I quite like that aged white-to-yellow color, especially on basses.

I think I have a Ric 620/12 Harngelb Yellow with black pickguard and binding. Thanks to this forum I finally found out what the name was. I knew it wasn't a refin, but I couldn't find any other Rics this color.
It is darker than it appears in the photos. Can a white Ric yellow that much ?

Yes, a white can yellow that much and more. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I'm looking to sell this white/yellow 620/12. Are the white ones a rare color also? It was built April 1980.

It's German, gelb is yellow, harn is urine... Really...

And it was a limited color that Rickenbacker produced...

Considering the translation, I guess harngelb is a better name for that color. They might have had some trouble selling p**s yellow guitars!

Yes, but, I believe the limited production of this color was made for Germany, where the name would be instantly understood...

If it's 1980, it's not Harngelb.
