Re: YOUR Signature Model
Hmmm...
Start with a 60's 335, add binding to the body, fireglo finish to the front of the body and neck, Rose Morris "redburst" to the back of the body, slap on a Mastery bridge and away we go! A matching 330/12 would probably be a good idea, but I don't want to be too greedy

A 350/6 in FG or JG
full width triangle inlays
R tailpiece
double plain white bindings
neck bindings
white pick guards
three hi gain pickups
5 way pickup switch
21 frets small fret wire
The blend knob would have a pull out switch
to make the center pickup go out of phase.
A slash-shaped sound hole, with plain binding.

Other then the Fireglo and the sound hole, it sounds a lot like a Susanna Hoff's Limited edition!Popeyekahn wrote:A 350/6 in FG or JG

Re: YOUR Signature Model
For guitars, it would be a Model 1993/12 in Burgundy-glo, with a wide 660/12 style neck.
For basses, it would be a Model 1999, also in Burgundy-glo!

Re: YOUR Signature Model
After the announcement of the 1993Plus in January, I thought I'd revive this thread to see how opinions and signature model/dream Ric requests have changed since the announcement of that model. Mine certainly has.
As of NOW, my signature model/dream Ric would be a special two-pickup 1993Plus. Keep everything the same, just nix that middle pickup. Thazzit.

381/12V69 in Fireglo, with scatterwounds instead of the hot toasters.
Re: YOUR Signature Model
Yup, changed my mind, too. Change the scale length to 25.5". Everything else is the same. Great finger picking guitar.jimk wrote:Start with a 360-F body

Rick-O-Sound option
Bigsby V60
22 frets
12" radius
Nut width 1 11/16"
Scale length 24.5"
Double checkerboard bound
A great guitar for finger pickers.

Re: YOUR Signature Model
a 381/12 MG - I'm not fussy!
or 340/12 MG, toasters, TV knobs, gold trussrod cover and scratchplate, black embossed logo (raised, hate that flat lettering)

Re: YOUR Signature Model
4002 FL with a VVT wiring harness, a standard Hipshot bass bridge, light weight Hipshot tuners, and S appointments (no binding). Pickups would be RWRP Toasters. That'll be all...
