Sitting and playing a 650

Post by BB11 »

The 650 came, it is mint but the warranty was sent in so only MF warranty. My question has to do with sitting and playing, I do not stand and play. The treble horn digs into my leg, I am thinking a short strap may help, I need to get one. The neck is great both in width at the but and girth, I do not find it big at all. The tone is very good, it will take time to figure it out. If i cannot get comfortable I will not keep it, so any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

I've not had any comfort problems with mine, either sitting or standing. When you play while sitting are you leaning over the guitar in a way that puts extra weight on it? Mine is so light I don't think it would be uncomfortable even at an angle where it was poking a bit. A strap could certainly help as well.

I just ordered a much more adjustable strap. Will pay attention to my position. My Casino and acoustics are much lighter, may be a learning process. And I found out the warranty card was not sent in, just folded.

So which of the 650C color options you mentioned did you end up with?

Give the guitar a little time for you to adjust. Ricks can feel weird at first.
