A couple years ago there was a short run of something called Santa Ana Skyglo, or something like that.

Contacted seller... says it's Skyglo, not MID. Maybe Santa Ana Sky Blue? Looks like it.

I think "Santa Ana Skyglo" is one of a few colors that RIC makes for the Japanese market. There is also "Plumglo" in Japan, and other special trims like the mirror pick guard. I might be mistaken, though.

Since early 2014. This finish was on some 620s and 4003 basses for the Japanese distributor.

Nice to see they have now done a few 1993+ guitars as well

Wildwood Guitars has one of them listed on their website. They say that only seven Skyglo models have been made for this year!

More info - seller also says the documentation does not say "Santa Ana Skyglo" but just Skyglo.

It is most likely, someone here on the RRF coined the Santa Ana part.

Skyglo is a lighter and different metallic blue compared to MID.

Seven of the 1993 Plus model were finished in 2016 in Santa Ana Skyglo (that is the "official" name; shown on the warranty card as "SKG"):

Much lighter shade than MID:

I like the Skyglo, as shown on a 4003 in the linky above.
But I think I like the metallic plumglo even better...
