1958 Rickenbacker 360 video

I recently came across this video of this guy playing a 1958 360. That thing is a tone machine!!! Usually people comment on videos to play something besides Beatle tunes on ricks. Most people play "All my loving" or "You Can't do that" on there videos. Not this guy, he rocks out some "Helter Skelter" and "I am the walrus"  Plus he throw in some Zeppelin and some tasty bluesy licks. Pretty entertaining video imho.

The guy seems a little scatterbrained, but he really has some good chops!

That guitar has a wonderful hollow/woody tone when played clean!

Ah yes, Phil-X. Search his name here on the RRF for some great past threads, he's a real character and sort of a "walking-chord book" when it comes to cover tunes. Legend..

The Capri is nice as well, love that Fireglo/gold combination. 8)

Me too! I wish the gold pickguard/TRC were available on more newer instruments. In addition to Fireglo/gold, I think Ruby/gold, Midnite blue/gold, and Jetglo/gold are great color combinations. Then my personal favorite, Turquoise/gold!
