Stolen 362???

Post by jdogric12 »

That plate sure don't match the rest of the condition, and I would be surprised to learn they made a 362 in 1990. Right? Thoughts?

...but the Gumby headstock, Schaller tuners etc? Looks very 1990 to me.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions here, other than the conclusion that it's outrageously overpriced.

Seller heard back from RIC... reply (lacking seller inquiry context) unclear but points toward genuine.

Assuming it's legit (which I have no reason to believe otherwise), has anybody seen a 362 made after this one?

How cool!

Talk about a custom order, there couldn't have been many made in those days.

I must admit, while I wouldn't give my 362/12 up, I did look at the headstock on the six string neck of this one and go, "oh...hello there!"

If it's been case-stored for so long, what's with the jackplate?? Could that black spotting be cleaned up? Fair bit of corrosion showing there.

I think I know where it comes from.
If so, this has been stored in a humid and non climatised environment.
