Either the toasters are original to the guitar, or they have been added to the guitar depending on the DCR measurement of the pickups. Are the pickups dark and murky sounding relative to a '60s era toaster? If so, they may be replacement hot pickups (around 12K). RIC did not start adding the molding marks until the introduction of the scatterwound 7.4K toasters. Oh I see.... There are no dots at all. It means they are not from early 80's?
