Oh I see.... There are no dots at all. It means they are not from early 80's?
Either the toasters are original to the guitar, or they have been added to the guitar depending on the DCR measurement of the pickups. Are the pickups dark and murky sounding relative to a '60s era toaster? If so, they may be replacement hot pickups (around 12K). RIC did not start adding the molding marks until the introduction of the scatterwound 7.4K toasters. Original '60s toasters had the dimples, too.

You could always check the soldering to see if they are additions.

They sound rather hot actually, I'll check how I could mesure the resistance of my pickups.

Seems impossible to find another Ric of early 80's with such toasters over the Internet. Maybe someone has some pictures?
