My wiring diagram for 3-pickup guitars takes a part RIC only sold for a little while on their boutique before going with the bypass switch: a push-pull DPDT switch, installed on the 5th knob so it passes the "five foot" test. The benefits of my wiring diagrams are that not only do they pass the five-foot test, but all the controls retain their original functions in the "down" position of the push-pull, so nobody knows the difference until you want them to. Also, I never liked the mid-neck combination in the selector switch up position. I think it sounds insipid. So with one switch my wiring diagram fixes all that.
