Mid-90s 330 FG

Post by rickinroma »

I have the chance to buy a second hand single owner mint conditions 330 FG at an extremely good price, from 1996.
Opinions on that... on finish, neck type, pickups, good year, bad year, average, anything I should know?
Thanks :)

I'd say average to good. Necks were growing in that era, but it shouldn't be as thick as the late 90's to early 00's.

Many of the quirky "Space Germany" tuners show up in '96. The batch of tuners that were made between the time Germany reunified and the tooling was changed to reflect it... they simply removed the "W." but did not slide the letters together to fill the gap until a while later. I see most of the Space tuners in '96, but they appear as late as the early 00's.

Don’t know about the guitars, but I have a ‘95 4001v63 in beautyful fireglo. The back of the neck really looks like embers. The best playing rick I’ve played. Good luck! :)
