Rickenbacker screws - alternate sources

Post by Mati »

Hi, I am trying to figure out what screws were fitted on Ric guitars in different eras (Combo, Capris, 60s). Anybody have knowledge which one was used for pickguard, nameplate, input jack, tailpiece and toaster pickup mount?

That's a tall order that would require quite a bit of research. The results would likely vary as to basses, 6- and 12-string guitars and the model and year of each, with exceptions along the way.

When you find out, please let the rest of us know. You might also include tuner, bridge intonation and height adjustment screws in that list, as well as pickup corner screws.

If there is a specific instrument you are focused on, it would help to know what that is.
