Case options for 360/12

Post by akpasta »

Apologies if there are already threads on the topic. It's somewhat difficult to search from my phone. What hard shell case options exist for the 360/12? I'm looking at the lower end of the budget spectrum.

Thanks!!

RIC makes two cases for it, the standard SKB one, and the vintage style silver Tolex® case. Beyond that, see what you might find at you local MusicBarn®.

Post-holiday bump for this question.

looking for a hard case for less than $200 that will fit a Rick 360. Anyone know of something that works?

Hi Andy, welcome to the RRF.

You should be able to find a used RIC case for under $200, just look around on eBay or Reverb (or post a WTB ad here). Having the correct case add to the value of your guitar, since they all shipped with one from the factory.

Other than a custom built flight case (which will run well over $200!), I wouldn't suggest exploring any budget case options. None of them are specifically designed to fit a Rickenbacker, and a hard case is no place to cut costs when you have a $1,000+ instrument.
