Vintage style Rickenbacker 12 string tuners - Question?

This may sound like stupid question but are the vintage style tuners on a Ric
2 sets of 6 of the same vintage type set?
Or are they unique in some way?

On vintage (60s through early 70s) models, they are identical sets of six Kluson tuners.
As I understand it, modern era instruments use two slightly different sets, with the side (octave) tuners slightly longer to fit the larger headstocks compared to the 60s shape.

What Collin said. 2 X 6 Vintage Klusons. That is what I have on my 1981 360-12WB OS FG Chkbd.

I talked to Chris at "Pick Of The Ricks"
and he said the "Modern" Vintage use 2 different sets
00564 and 00565
One of the sets having a little longer post than the other.
The actual Vintage models used 2 of the same set.

Another tidbit: The slot tuners do not have bushings, which can cause them to bind over time, and this is one reason the old tuners lose ability to hold tune. One fix is to modify a set of "vintage" stamped-nickel mandolin bushings and install them in the slots, which keeps the tuners from binding, as I have done on my headstock.
