Rick 950 neck width

Post by dcbirdman »

I started to look around for an Fireglo 950 from the 1965-75 period (very few in the 70s it seems) and there is not a 950 to be found anywhere except a '61 on Reverb.

I know all these had narrow necks but does anyone know the exact width right down to the 16/th" on 950s? I guess there was some variation over the years.

Has anyone ever been able to do a nut with slightly wider string spacing on these?

Jason if you don't mind, would you please fill us in here too so it's available for other members who want to know? Nice to hear from you. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
