I installed cheap humbucker toasters to test out my Rick 325c58 project, and they don't work. I've got a c58 harness installed. I checked a dozen times and soldered everything correctly. Does the type of pickups have to do with the connection? Like i said, i just have cheap humbucker toaster copies on right now. I know the c58s have single coil low ohm toasters, but i currently can't find any. Thanks!

Did you solder the pickup to the pickup selector switch like a Rick, or to the pots like a Gibson?

First off, toasters (real ones) are single coil pickups, not humbuckers.

Are these cheap pickups you got being used for the first time, or do you know for a fact they work? Maybe this is why they were cheap...
