Draw Your Own Conclusions On This
Check this out and draw your own conclusions. I think, given the alteration, he's asking $6000 too much, which means he's either delusional or on drugs.

And with the non-original Pickup in the Neck, (and the body wood likely cut to adapt the humbucker), he is not likely to get the price he is seeking.drumbob wrote:It doesn't surprise me that it's been up for a long time. The seller is is "ambitious."

Gee, to think what I could have gotten for this one if I had left it the way it was when I bought it ...

Re: Draw Your Own Conclusions On This
I couldn't resist sending the seller a carefully worded email advising him that his price was way too high, that untouched examples don't fetch $7500 and that I had no selfish interest in the guitar. I wished him luck selling it at a reasonable price. No reply. I'm sure he's heard from others. In the end, it's his guitar and if he wants to be stupid about it, that's his God-given right top do so.

Probably the classic case of his spouse want it gone and he says that he's been trying to sell it, but no bites, yet.
