Stereo Output

Post by Julius_Kahn »

I own 1966, model 360, 6 string Ric. When I use the stereo output and plug directly into a single channel amp, I get sound only from the treble pickup and not from the rhythm pickup. Is this normal? What else can you tell me about the stereo output? Thank you for your input.

Julius: This is normal and is to be expected. You need to use a splitter cable such that a stereo jack on one end is plugged into the stereo output of your Rickenbacker and two mono jacks on the other end are plugged into separate amplifiers or separate channels to achieve the stereo effect. You can get one of these cables at Radio Shack or any half-decent electronics store for very little money.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
