M-88 at pawnshop price?

Post by brazenhead »

Hello,

I found a M-88 that has a wooden cabinet and fender speaker. The cabinet looks like pine. Is this an original m-88 amp? Also, what would be a fair price? I am not sure if it works. It probably needs some work as it looks old. Thanks for any info.

Tough to price without photos. Changed out speaker lowers value; non-original Tolex, painted Tolex, corrosion in and/or out, etc., all affect the value, too. Anywhere from $25.00 to say, $300.00 for mint, would be my guess. More info tightens up the price range, though.

Thanks for the reply. I do not have any more info. It has no tolex. I guess it has been removed? It probably isn't a good find. I think it is probably 1 out of a 5 with 5 being the best. I think I will pass on it. Thanks for your help.
