RIC powered monitor

Post by kennyhowes »

I meant to tell all y'all, I picked up a Ric powered monitor a couple of weeks ago! (Model 112P, I believe?)

75w power amp, 1x12 + 2 piezo horns. Styling is similar to PA120 and TR series, with the chrome nameplate on the grille cloth. Fun!

That monitor is cool. It sort of looks like a wedge shaped TR-35B. How does it sound?
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Just from the standpoint of design cues, it appears to be around mid-'70s...any clues as to how old it is?

It sounds like...well, a TR35B with two tweeters! This is a good thing.

Don't have the serial number handy, but yeah, it's transition from Road-to-RIC period.

The person who sold it to me (an older C&W singer) said she bought it new in '89 (!) and hadn't used it much, so it has extremely low miles.
