Re: TR120B Report
I love my TR35B, except for the fact that it blows fuses on a regular basis.

OK. I'll have one of each, please...
Re: TR120B Report
Any pics from the gig Tracy?
Re: TR120B Report
Hi George! Yeah, Google 'Lively Ones Tiki Oasis' on Google Video and most of the show comes up in segments. Amp is not the subject of attention (why would the photographer care?) but you can see it in passing and it's heard predominately throughout.
Kenny: yup, that's the combination, alright!
Erik: if it blows slo-blo fuses, it has a problem. Should be reliable! Mine are up to the task always---

Just scored a TR120B from Pick of the Ricks today along with a 1977 4001 W/VP, both are in very good condition, the 4001 is a real players bass..........

Nice, Ange! I like the Pickguardian vintage style PG.
Re: TR120B Report
The TR120B was produced for use by the clergy only! If you're not a high priest or divinely annointed and currently possess a TR120B you have only two paths to salvation. You can turn it over to The Church or contact me for Amplifier Redisbursement Instructions. In either case your sins will be absolved provided you follow through with your penance: You must wear an SVT at your ankle for a year. Bless you, my sons and daughters.

I've had my eye on this:kennyhowes wrote:Well, I've let two of them slip through my hands in the last few months. Silly me.
Next one that comes along. For reals.
In the meantime I've got a TR35B, which ain't no slouch.

In anyone's opinion, is it worth it? I'm more of a 10s and 12s for bass guy, but it is what it is.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Re: TR120B Report
Great amp, but the price is slightly on the high side; they're usually in the $225 - $275 range.

Re: TR120B Report
That's what I was looking for, Kenny; thanks! But $305 wouldn't be breaking the bank if it's really in top-notch condition. Then again, who knows? I haven't looked for too many of these, so I don't know how often they come up.
Maybe I'll wait a bit...
