1959? M-8 Rickenbacker Amp

Post by rfry@hotmail.com »

Hi!
Iam new to this forum but I am planning to sell my m-8 Ric on Ebay and I have no idea where to start the bidding. I have owned this amp since about 1969 and have always loved it but due to a table saw accident I am getting rid of my guitars and this amp.
The amp still sounds fine and has not had any kind of alterations. I would post a picture but as I said I am new here and I'm not sure how.

Any suggestions on a starting price would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Here's a recent sale on ebay of a 1959 M-8. Sold for cheaper than I thought; if yours is nice with original Jensen Alnico speaker, it could go for $175-$200.

But based on this sale, that might be too much to expect now. Holiday season is not a good time to be selling, BTW.

Thanks! I appriciate the input. My M-8 could be a twin to the one you pointed out on Ebay & is in about the same condition. I'll also wait untill after the holidays.

Again, many thanks!
