Skyotes!

That cat is smart to do nothing. Most gulls could take a cat to pieces, I bet.

Amazingly, we have to deal with them by the thousands here in north east Montana. Who'd a thunk it???

Well, water for sure, not necessarily salt though. It's amazing how many "sea" birds congregate in a field that's being irrigated! It's also strange to be out plowing/disking/seeding, etc. and see a flock of gulls dive in and fight over mice and ground squirrels that get stirred up. Yeah, they eat a lot more than fish!

Why are they here? Well, mainly due to the Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, 15,551 acres of wetlands, islands and mixed grass prairie, which is about a mile from my house. It's one of the primary breeding grounds for all sorts of migratory birds, including pelicans, gulls and terns...

Yep, the little bastiges can get pretty brazen in their robberies.

What blew my mind was when I regularly saw gulls on Colfax Avenue in Denver... usually by a busy car wash...

Maybe it was the dog's dish and the cat was happy to see the seagull steal food from the dog. Perhaps it was.........cat karma at work

Or maybe the seagull was to become dog's dish in a few moments. What's better than a well-stuffed dish?
Um. Sorry.
