What finish is that? It looks really cool, and doesn't look like FG.

That'd be an early FG, Paul. The gold pickguards are distorting the color a bit too.

Notice that this guitar also sports the crushed pearl inlays (henceforth christened CPI). A '61 460 and '61 365 with CPIs on Ebay in one week! :lol:

The marks in the fretboard appear like indentations. What exactly is it?

Stan: We are now into Rickenbacker Forensics. I believe that you are looking at grooves from nails and finger-tips.

No takers on this one, Ric330. Whaddya think? Is a B-I-N price of 10.4K a bit on the steep side for it? Obviously, it's too rich for my blood.
