Mint 1967 360-12

Post by Top Gun »

Many people ask: which RIC 12-string is your favorite??? Because so many beautiful RIC guitars have come & gone over the years, I would lean VERY heavily towards the following guitar. Simply put, this guitar is STUNNING… One of the BEST 12-string guitars Rickenbacker has EVER offered… The wood is stunning! The playability is amazing; and the sound is UNBELIEVABLE!

Mac, you've brought some really great guitars for everyone to look at on the Forum, and I thank you for that..it's great to see pics of some 'top-shelf' Rickenbackers...I've really enjoyed it!

I can appreciate minty 12-strings for sure. Here's a bookend to go with your '67 round-top...

Though the proud owner of a 660/12, I gotta say my '66 360/12 is easier to play.

Another beauty Mac.

What month is that one? John's 12 looks like the typical 67 FG with the yellow center, whilst yours is darker...

Beautiful wood on Mac's 12, very uncommon for what you normanlly see.

Andy, my left-handed 360/12 has a September '67 sn#......

Thanks guys for the compliments. My guitar has an August date stamp, just one month before John’s.

Obviously woods and color do vary from guitar to guitar, but someone really put some thought into building this one. Who knows, maybe it was a NAMM guitar, hence the special wood and darker Fireglo color??? Just a thought…

John your guitar looks great also… I LOVE seeing lefty RIC guitars. The upside-down crushed-pearl inlays, nameplates and “R” tailpiece look so cool…

Interesting how that shade of FG is so different, considering the single month.

Both beautiful examples gentlemen...
