Is there ANY guitar more beautiful than a '60s 360/365 O.S. in fireglo? This is one that should be a V series! Now that I have one (a '66) I play nothing else.

These are better, taken with daylight instead.

I have a few, Chuck, but I'm sure you know what I'd choose! :D

The closest thing you could get to a 365 OS in the V series was the now discontinued 360V64 six string. Add a vibrato to one of those, and isn't that bascially what a 60s 360/365 OS is?

Like I already told you, before Wes, congrats. You never did answer my question, How does it feel to own your first vintage Ric?

Wes, what about those Grover tuners? Might they be original? I don't see any extra holes there.

On second thought and after conferring with John Simmons, the original tuners were most likely Van Ghents. Nothing gets past Leftybass. :P

Van Ghents as late as '66? I thought those were used last on very early '65 guitars.

Good call, John. You're right! Do Van Ghents have the same footprint as Grovers?

I'm not really a fan of the huge backs or the pearl buttons. Any chance something like this would work?

I see that they have two screw holes, so I'm not sure.

Lovely guitar Wes, but I'm also thinking that the TRC is a replacement too. The one on it now is no earlier than circa 1968, due to the 'made in USA' being parallel to the nut....no biggie though.

I'd look for a set of Van Ghents for it anyway, at least you'll have them if you wanna install them. :D
