The Rarest Rick, Rickenbacker Banjo?
Anybody see this on eBay? Anyone ever heard of these before? I don't play the banjo, nor do I have $6k to start trying, but this think is pretty cool: http://cgi.ebay.com/RICKENBACKER-BANJO- ... 286.c0.m14

I guess they are pretty rare. Part of that late '60's purple patch. I love 'em!

I only know it because it's listed on http://www.rickenbacker.me.uk/www.ricke ... odels.html (scroll down - some nice stuff on that site).

What's more rare, the Banjoline or the Bantar?

Ronnie Wood hauled out a Banjoline when the Stones played the SARS concert in Toronto in '03. Insobriety at the time prevents me from remembering much else, but I thought that choice of instrument was pretty cool.

Hey Graham, do you have any recordings of you on the Banjoline or the Bantar?
Re: The Rarest Rick, Rickenbacker Banjo?
Each of these are the rarest Rick as there is only one of each extant.
Re: The Rarest Rick, Rickenbacker Banjo?
In terms of color, anyway...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: The Rarest Rick, Rickenbacker Banjo?
Even rarer than this?
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.
Re: The Rarest Rick, Rickenbacker Banjo?
Graham's late 60's bantar with a late 60's 4005 bass... Almost what you asked for, just no Graham.Hey Graham, do you have any recordings of you on the Banjoline or the Bantar?
