I, too, am thinking that the redburst and dark burst would have to be considered different finishes from a collector point of view - even if they are both just unintended variations on FireGlo. I think it's been said a few times on the forum before, but many of these unofficial colour variations were apparently the result of Rickenbacker spray booth workers having a bad day, or perhaps their first day on the job, or perhaps just trying to make their mark... Whatever the reasons, it makes for some really pretty finishes, and some really rare and desirable guitars.
