Not to throw gas on the dying embers here, but . . . the 1993-12 was reissued briefly (a small run) in 1987. I have seen one or two over the years posted on ebay. They vanish very quickly.

The 1993's are similar to the RM1999 basses, (of which documented examples are in the mid 20's), a relatively small percentage, given the original production. One might come to the conclusion there are a few more hidden under the bed's here and there...

Graham G might have the last actual $, or GBP/Yen price for a 1993.

The last one on Ebay in the UK, sold for £10,200 IIRC.......a few years ago.......I would suggest that £15k would secure a 1993 in the UK right now...........does that help?

I don't know but that has gone already (see completed listing for separate 12 string sold for BIN $1500 with the vintage case) - case looked in good nick...

If it were a '64 it should have a squared off heel...no?

you know I'm thinking this is going to be like London buses; you don't see one for ages then 3 come along all at the same time.....
