Sharing this as I hadn't seen this particular Beat Instrumental RM Rick ad before. It's from January 1966 edition and a tie-in with their annual awards.

Glad you like 'em Steve. Here's a few more Beat Instrumental gems to keep you going through these hard times... Includes Townshend (not Townsend as captioned) with what I think is actually one of his 1993's (not a 1997 as captioned) and a couple of Denny Laine with his RM1998. As you like the bass, I have added a Rose Morris ad from '67 featuring Marshall but with a Rick Bass also pictured. Seems by late '66 Rose Morris no longer exclusively advertised Rickenbacker product in their marketing - presumably as a result of both falling sales and the increasingly troubled business relationship with the Rickenbacker factory which ultimately ended up with the termination of their UK distribution contract (I think it formally ended sometime in '68/9 timeframe).
