Vintage Toaster Cover Screws Question

Post by rickendelic »

As a rule is it that, true pre 72-73 toasters all have a slot head screw as opposed to a Phillips head screw? I've seen a number of toasters taken from vintage 400 series guitars come up and many seem to have Phillips head screws which I've always considered consistent with a reissue toaster. Your thoughts please.
