Hey guys! I'm talking with a guy online about buying his 60s 360/12 and I'm concerned about the neck angle. The action looks kinda high and the saddles look like they're filed pretty low maybe? What do you guys think?

Looks low but I've seen [read: owned] worse.

No mistake about it - the neck angle is visibly shallow. But the vast majority of these guitars are like that, especially most 12-strings between 1964-1967.

The bridge height is irrelevant until you adjust the action down to a normal (low) level, then you can really see where it's at.

Personally, I wouldn't shy away from the guitar, but don't pay too much since it could likely get worse over time. Under $3000 would be a realistic price in this condition. There are a few options to help eliminate or slow the neck creeping forward, including use of ultra light-gauge strings, which should be required for all these early 12-string Ricks.

Make sure the pics you're seeing are at full tension, and maybe get a return option for if the neck is not "as advertised."
