1979 Rick 362/12 Double Neck??

Post by tedsooc »

What is my 1979 Rick 362/12 double neck in mapleglo worth? It's in near mint condition and has the original hard case. I can't find any others in the usual places (eBay, Craigslist, etc.). Thanks!

Ted: Welcome. You can see any information we have in the Pricelist. Should you have a sale in mind you will not be able to list it on the RRF until you have 30 posts.

I would say, in this economy, $14000USD - $17000USD.

Ted, put it up in the register, if it's not already there.

The limited pricelist findings thus far would argue for about half of that Ivan. :)

The last sale I know of was Steve Lukather's, which went for about $7500, so a decent one from someone who didn't play in Toto would probably fetch $10K.... kidding... I'd say probably $4K on an average day. But you never know. With big ticket items these days it's all about finding the right buyer. Wait for 6-12 months and you'll get the big price you are looking for.

Well Ted, stick around a bit, post some good topics and conversation, and you'll have 30 posted before you know it (and can access the marketplace). Heck....post some pics! :)

Ted:

Can you post some pics? I'd really like to see your guitar...

Also what are the number and letters on the jackplate? This will date the guitar precisely...

Sounds like a cool one... they are certainly rare...

I could use a doubleneck; I get tired of switching back and forth between the six and the twelve. . . and the 362 is light enough to jump about stage with. :D
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...
