1983 Rickenbacker 320

Post by pocaloc »

This is for sale locally on Craigslist. I can't afford so figured I'd give a heads up. Hopefully this is ok to post. I'm not the seller:

What a deal! I would think a "B" is worth at least $2k.

It was gone about two hours after I saw the ad, so someone else in Spokane knew what a good deal it was (at $1300).

My friend Dave here in NYC bought it. You'll be seeing it for $2500 on eBay shortly. :)

Now, what's the difference between a "B" model 320 and a bog standard 320 from the same year?

Not much - the gold plastic and the "chrome bar" pickups.

At least some 320Bs have five knob controls: see serial numbers WG975 and WJ1XXX in the Register.

Oh really? How did he hear about it? Nationwide craigslist search, or did you tip him off? That will be a nice profit for him. :)

Good for you guys. I need to build a war chest so I can pick up some of the good deals that come along every so often.
