That was GREAT!!! I've seen a couple of snippets of Mitch's videos with Carr. Carr seems really happy to be doing them with Mitch.

I don't know anything about mic'ing amps, other than what I've read about how the Beatles experimented. This was a great lesson - probably for the novice and expert, as well.

I do have one question for Mitch - when is your new material coming out (unless I missed it?). That demo is classic Mitch Easter, with your signature all over it. I love it. -Jeff

Yeah, that song he was playing for Steve in the control room and at the very end was really great!

So, there are other videos of Mitch & Steve together?

I saw some recently - perhaps on the Carr website.

Thanks! Interesting video, indeed! Das Boot... I almost thought he meant Das Butt until he mentioned Doldinger!

I need to see the whole video. I'm about 1/2 way through

Anyway. isn't FIdelitorium cool?

Mitch Easter is the best mixperson on this planet. Maybe a Martian with some out of this world console can do better, but on Earth, my money's on Mitch

It would be cool if Mitch were mixing something of his own...it's time for another release! I'm' betting he's got tons of material. I'd also love to hear out-takes or alternate takes of Let's Active. If he put it up for sale as an album, I think he'd make his money back and then some. Throw in some old and new interviews, too! I think I have an old interview lp from my college radio station days somewhere. Mitch being interviewed and beating drum in the background. Too cool!

I plan to hire him to mix a couple of new tunes of mine in the very near future. So please don't give him any ideas that will take up too much time :D
